چکیده
Functional analysis indicates that the Cape Minor Ventilator is predominantly a flow generator in the inspiratory phase, electrically powered, time cycled and volume pre-set. Study of methods of oxygen enrichment show that any desired Fioa froTM air to 90% oxygen can be achieved. Clinical evaluation suggests it to be a useful, small, powerful and inexpensive ventilator. The major defect is poor valve design.
